Swap Trouble

Today I put a B18B1 into my 93 civic cx hb everything went fine until I started it up.It is spitting and sputering and it seems like it is fluding itself,there is black smoke coming from the exjuast.Yes it will start but will not stay running on its own.The motor is a 98 integra B18B1.I now that this motor is obd-2 but this should not be happening because of obd-2.I did the same swap yesterday with my friend in his 92 civic vx hb,and his went fine, no problems and we put in a motor out of a 99 integra B18B1.Whay are the differances between these two motors.Maybe I have the wrong ecu,he used a ecu out of a 94 I tried that same ecu and still, the same problems please help

Sounds to me like the it's a problem in the motor,not the swap.Did you change the oil/plugs and that good stuff?

found the problem today,just the map sensor.Motor and car works great.

good job dude my friend had the same problem except it took him a week to figure it out
