Well I have an advantage on you, but that is what I am going to put in my civic, from the prices(wholesale) that I have gotten, it will cost around, 2600-3500 depending on where you get it and if you have good connections, that is just for the block and tranny, you still gotta buy new axles and motor mounts. and then just for your info, you are gonna have to take out your AC and Powersteering, to make room, and you will have to buy a stiffer suspension up front, because the h22a block is about 200 lbs more than your stock engine in a civic. I hope this info helps, I would estimate at least 5000+ because if you are set on this engine then you have to include cost for:
