Swapping and auto for a 5-speed tranny....possible???

How costly and difficult would it be to swith my 93 civic from an automatic tranny to a 5-speed short throw?? Cosidering i have a skyjacker lift and unlimited tools and shop??? Let me know...Thanks

you need a lot of parts, mechanically its not too difficult, but the parts add up

If he hasnt worked on cars, then converting to a manual will be one of the HARDEST things to tackle as your first DIY project.

So, I dont think you should do it. I have, and honestly I shoulda sold the shell for $500 and bought manual shell for the same price, would have been less of a headache.

But, all in all Im happy... with my conversion.
