Swapping CTR centre console to 96 civic

Will a 99 CTR centre console (ie: ac controller) fit right bolt on in a 96 civic ? Or will i have to mod the wires ?

lots of stuff to change and removal of the dash is needed to install it and make it work correctly there is a how to on honda-tech about this its not an easy thing to do
