the fastest S2000 is 13.8, against a 14.0 flat car, that isn't "spanking" shit.

Not to mention the SRT4 makes the power lower in the rpm range and has a shorter more usable streetable power band.

modded civ, stock viper. did you check out the viper in the scc ultimate street car challenge? when youre talking modded civ, talk modded viper.

furthermore, there is no neon srt4. on the car, the title, anywhere you look, there is no 'neon' on the srt4. so stock, yeah, an srt4 would roll it. stock, a neon would still pull. but without taking anything away from the s2k, the srt4 has it. id rather own an s2k for style, and an srt4 for comfort (big guy) and torque.

A friend gave me a ride in a neon R/T and I waas like wow this actually has some balls. I ws impressed but it still cant touch a civic. I have a new respect for neons. They have come a long way and is really the only US compact car to look at seriously until the new cobalt. I guess there is the focus SVT but neon kills it. 230whp is only a dream for me in my sol so I give credit to the neon.

BTW 500hp on stock internals is fucking insane!!

Actually the old Neon R/Ts would give any 99-00 or 02+ Si a run for its money. I know I got spanked by one in my Escort a couple of years ago.

Don't forget the R/T adds 30 ft lbs over the 99-00 Si and 10 over the 02+ Si. Torque and power bands come into play too.
