Is there any actual fact and data behing this or is this just bullshit? I saw it somewhere on here, dont know where and want to know whats up with that.

its bullshit
i used redline full synthetic for the 80,000 miles i had my motor. i highly reccomend redline or synergen.

sorry. i think i might have caused the confussion. i had read that on another board and i mentioned it to someone that was asking for advice on his vtec problem but i clearly stated that i didn't know if there is any truth to it and that is something i read. i personally use synthetic oil in my car and i've yet to see any problems.
no harm, no foul.
:shrug2:

It has everything to do with oil level...

There have been rumors, but no one has presented solid proof. When Honda stops reccomending synthetic for the NSX, the S2000, and the Type R line I will stop running it. :)
