hey could you just buy like 2 quarts of full synthetic and mix it with 2 quarts of dyno oil and it would be like synthetic blend?

i am not to sure about the mixing propertys of dino and Synthedic. Simple test could be get some rolyal purple synthedic and put it in a clear jar, then place some dino oil, see if it mixes.


However, never buy SEMI synthedics. There is no standard for what qualifys for semisynthedics. A company can put 1 part synthedic in there, and the other 99 parts be dino oil, and still call it a synthedic. No where on a bottle does it say percentages on there, however, it still costs alot more then normal dino oil. Stay away.
