I dont know much about turbos but i didnt know if this would be a good start for me or not. I was planing on putting it on a d15 for fun.

From what I understand a T25 is a fast spooling, small turbo. Good for a little boost, but not much. Meshed with a D15 I think the spool up time would be short. The real questions are 1) what's it's condition? 2) are you going to be happy only doing a small boost setup on a crappy motor (no offense intended)

None takin...no i just have a d15 layin around do you think it would be a better setup on my b16 in my rex?

boosted d15 or b16?? this shouldn't even be a question. do the b16

I wasnt sure how good of a turbo the t-25 is.

its about as small as they come.

You have a B16 in your Rx-7?? What generation?

where the hell do you see that?

REX... aka rx. well thats what i called my rx-7... my "rex"

You can pick up t-25's off eBay in excellent shape for $100 all day long. My friend here just sold a pair in good condition for $100.

I'd look for the older generation DSM's 14b turbo. It's a good bit bigger, or possibly a nice T-3 off a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe or Mustang SVO.

Those turbo's would be much more fun at 5-7 psi on a d15.

T-25's are good for about 13-15lbs of boost if im not mistaken. good for smaller motors cause the lag isnt too bad on them.

Well, that really depends... it's good for alot more boost than that on a much smaller engine...

Say a geo metro engine, it'd be good for 20+ because the intake restrictions are so much larger.

If you put a t-25 on say, a c5 corvette, it probably wouldn't make a single pound of boost because the LT-1 can injest so much air!

See what I'm saying, here? Just because it'll make 13-15 pounds without a problem on the engine it comes off of, doesn't mean it'll make that much boost on all other engines. It has to do with AIRFLOW, not boost levels.
