Actually I was waiting for my OBD1 distributor to arrive, when I received it and opened the package it turned out to be a TD73U marked on the metal. It has only one 8-wire plug attached to it. Anyone got any idea which car is utilising it? Given the model number it should be an OBD2 onwards.

yeah, obd2 only use 1 larger plug.... but its still usable if you wish to take the time to swap the plugs over. basically, you put the little plug's wires onto the main plug and make one big connection. thats really the only difference.

however, the wiring isn't the issue here... the issue is is this for a b-series or an h-series? cuz what you have is an h22 dizzy.

if you're after a b-series, this is what you need- http://www.hondaacuraautoparts.com/honda-a.../products_id/56

Damn, I only need to perform a dpfi to mpfi. Now I am stuck with a dizzy two generations ahead. Anyway I also found out that it can be run on 96-00 1.6L civic DOHC VTEC as well as 98-00 2.3L Accord. Not many hondas from that era need to replace their dizzy. I bought it because the seller thought it was and advertised it suitable for 88-91si. Looking at the market prices, he has definitely under-sold this merchandise.

However I don't understand from the first link provided they still put 1.6L DOHC VTEC despite listing it a h22a dizzy which is supposed to be 2.2L. Could it be an oversight? I couldn't find a similar dizzy for a 1.6L DOHC VTEC but can find similar ones for h22a which are supposedly prelude engines.
