I'm having a problem I could use some help with. I finally finished my ls/vtec build and now I'm just working out some bugs.

My build is a 96 teg with I believe a 99 si head (I don't know how to identify what year the head is, but I know it's an OBD2). Also I did a obd1 ecu conversion which eliminated alot of problem from the stock GSR ecu I was running but now I'm getting a TDC code and my speed/tack doesn't work. I'm hoping there is a simple solution but I need some guidance.

    Thanks

yeah the car seems to runs decent it has an occasional miss on cylinder on that I can't figure out (injector tests fine and it has spark) but other than that it seems to be alright. The distributor is OBD2 or at least it connects to my OBD2 harness.

you said you did the obd1 conversion? does that mean you converted to obd1 or 2? I thought you had to use obd1 dizzy with obd1 ecu? as far as the speedo not working. check you speedo cable from you tranny. I might be loose.

Well pretty much I just threw in an obd1 ecu with a conversion harness. The distributor is OBD2 as well as every thing else on the car. The ecu conversion was kind of an after thought but it's working, the only problem the car has at the moment is its cutting off fuel before Vtec but I'm sure that's because of a bad oil switch, I don't think the TDC has anything to do with that.
