*looks around*......
Um...Joe? Chris? Uh....
I am a psuedo-member of Traction Control and I am good friends with Joe, and I am friends with Chris.
Yes, most of the members drive WRX's that cost more than 10 times the value of my car. Yes, a lot of them don't track them AT ALL. And by all, I mean basically everyone but me and Joe. Seriously.
As far as the group goes, they are good people - but I really don't think that anyone here
would like to hang around with them. They love their cars, and will at any moment tout how much money they have put into them. Yes, it is thier investment, but sometimes it gets annoying. Anything with less than 2.0L of displacement, FWD,and anything less than showroom mint condition will have a hard time fitting in. Don't get me wrong, its a good group of friends - and I enjoy hanging out, but as far as car oriented things go I tend to ride along rather than bring my Civic. I don't plan to show it, as it has no place next to neon, nitrous and LCD screens. I plan to beat the shit out of it on the track and kill some cones as well. But then again, I might just have to sell my EG and get a WRX. After all, I only have 130hp, FWD, and my bumper is held on by zip-ties. In a word, - used by the leader of our club - "too ghetto".
I just want to show that I think Joe is being a little protective of TC, and thus his attitude. But saying anything about Chris? Comeon man....
I'd personally rather hang out with a bunch of outdated cars, than get mocked daily by a bunch of people telling me what I have to do to be in their "club". I'm really touchy on the subject and I really don't want to say to much on either side. If you really want to know what I think, hit me up on AIM Chris.
