One advantage is that Techna-Fit lines reduce volumetric expansion. Over time and under continuous use, OEM rubber lines can swell and expand, exposing the driver to brake fade. The rubber cover is also vulnerable to attacks from the ozone layer (rubber deteriorates and causes failure). In extreme applications (auto x, racing, hard driving) rubber hoses might be susceptible to debris, thus causing failure. Stainless steel hoses provide some added protection from these issues.

At Corsport, Shipping is always free to the lower 48 states.

hard to tell. are these covered by a plastic or rubber like coating over the SS line? to prevent dirt from getting in the SS braids?

Yes, they have a rubber/plastic barrier on them to protect from corrosion etc.

Lostsoulz, checking now. We've got em up for an EG but i'll check on the del sol.

We should be able to get the front and rear for the same price as the EG. IF you're interested let me know.
