Teg console woes

I picked up a 94 teg console and wanted to install in my 90 4dr but its' from a auto and there is NO WAY that its gonna fit like everyone says and shows pics of.

I would have to make some kind of adapter to get it to get close.
If I hold it up to the bottom of the radio piece, the whole rear angles down about 3/4"??

Did I mess up with getting an auto one?

I've looked for "Bens resource page" but can't seem to find it again.

here's a how to in the CRX forum website, i like the way it looks but i think you'll have to fabricate some brackets; i'd like to do this swap myself but idk if it's worth the trouble...good luck.

NOPE, couldn't see much on those.
I have new carpet to install but even with that it looks to be at wrong angles.
I can but-up the front part, but the back angles down about 3/4"??

I'll be installing the carpet this weekend after I get the windscreen gaskets replaced.
Then I'll be able to take some better reference pics of what the heck I'm talkin about.
