I'm going to be shopping around for TVs here in the next few weeks. I want to move my 20" up to my room and get at least a 30-40" for the family room down here.

1. It must be HDTV compatible.
2. I need one S-video input.
3. I need one normal (red white and yellow cable... can't remember those cable names) input.
4. One PC input (I eventually want to run it through my desktop if I can ever figure out why it blue screen of deaths' on me).
5. Normal CATV input
6. CRT or LCD (preferably not an LCD, those are just insane in prices around here, saw a 32" LCD for 1800...) Talking to my brother he said to stay away from an LCD simply because of the price, I agree.

Minimum size: 30"

Good quality brands you recommend? I'd like to keep it between $500-600 but I'm willing to go up to $1000 if need be.

Any and every suggestion welcome.

I paid $1000 for my westinghouse. You can get some tv's a little cheaper without a tuner, just use a cable or satalite receiver.
