its not even 2010 yet. She'll have an add'l 15 minutes of fame next year when she starts to rally.

Why do you think she started her "book" tour in Iowa.

Personal reference: she scares me more than Hilary.

Plus I thought the rule of thumb was deny to confirm.

I think we need someone outside of the parties either way. At least it would take someone on the outside a little longer to be corrupted than a life long beltway iinsider. Or Ron Paul, because he has spent his entire career pissing everyone off.

The mccain camp's entire argument against obama was that he was not qualified to become president...

... then they brought someone who was arguably even less qualified (palin) onto the scene as the vp nominee.

agreed. mccain lost hands down because he picked this retard as his running mate. the day he picked, his ratings and poll reults tanked, finally endeding with the katie curic interview, and it was all over.

My feelings are mixed on this one. I'd love to see an Alaskan president who will develop our resources and lessen our dependence on foreign oil, also bolstering the Alaskan economy, but I know she'll just be a puppet for the GOP and, like Obama, will wield no real power.
I'd also like to see a strong conservative in power, but I don't think a female president is a good idea. My reasoning behind that is this: the presidency has been developed into a concentration of very strong powers. The president uses these powers in favor of organizations based on how they lobby to him/her. Putting a woman in this position where the focus of her efforts will be heavily swayed by emotion rather than rational logic is extremely troubling.

i too would like to see a strong conservative in power. my only concern is that we are long past the days of the "strong willed" presidents. we will never have another Teddy Roosevelt to speak softly and carry a big stick.

we have lost our american heroes who will lead a great nation rather than simply be a pascifist who wants to make all the poor people happy.

I want to see another war hero (who isn't 80 and about to die) become president. I would have loved to have had colin powell as our first black president. give me another roosevelt, grant, hoover, or eisenhower.

good ol' norman schwarzkoff. if he were president, he would have blown up iraq, stole their oil, and pissed on all the hippie liberals then smoked a cigar and drank a bottle of whiskey.

he would have fucked monica lewinsky and replied with, "so what, i'm fat too".

    he's got my vote.

    I met sarah

When I met her I asked if she was going to run for president. I mentioned to her that George Bush Jr. was elected and if he could do it then anyone could be elected president.
    she replied "I don't know"
this was right after she was elected as the governor of Alaska.
the only good thing she did was give every Alaskan’s $3200.00 for their PFD while she was in office.
This is something no other governor ever did before.
As far as president goes, I would not vote for her. If she cannot even fulfill her seat as a governor for one term can you imagine if she was the president?
she might pull the same crap and decide that she is better off doing something else.
what a flake and Alaska’s biggest embarrassment.
There are many other people who could do what she does and do it better.
if she wanted to be a writer than she should've focused on that instead of enabling her teenage daughter to have a kid.
being a rouge is not the philosophy I want a president to have.
I was shocked when she was selected as McCain’s running mate. I was in Chicago and people were asking me if this was a joke.
She is a failure in my opinion.

I could have gone for Powell back in the day when he was originally thinking about running. But with his weight being thrown behind President Obama early in the campain, I just cant go for him anymore.
