all our manufacturing goes to japana/china/malisia
all our farm products come from china/japan
all our beef and hay, becomes mad cow ridden

the market crashes, we all die

Well we do have all that farmland...

how about career change, I wouldn't go to India even if my life depended on it.

Over populated, Monsoon season, etc..etc..

U.S. has a huge agricultural sector

Uh, if you moved to china, you'd make about 200 U.S. dollars per year...

Most of them have PHD's in CS, or MIS

so 200 U.S. dollars to them, is like 249793732973297 dollars to us.

So what I'm getting at, is that you wont make any money over there either :)

Open your eyes and you can see it now. Tech jobs are already moving to India at a heel of a rate, we import much more in manufactured goods than we export. The only thing I don't see happening is our agriculture moving to China.

:concur: It's frightening to think about, especially when I consider that I am at school for mechanical engineering, and people are getting payed significantly less overseas to do the same work I would do here- it just seems like a matter of time before I'm a mechanic at a local garage-

south america has beat our corn and soybean production amounts and prices for over 5 years....Iowa farmers are freaking out.....they even beat the price on corn after importing it........south america will take most of our ag by 2010,its a fact but we will still do all the ag research so we'll have plenty to plant and sell it just wont be for consumption anymore and shouldnt hurt our market much but there have been open debates here over this in town halls for the past two years and its a big deal to people here

It's the american dream.

didnt bush just recently lower tarriffs on some imported products and shit? fuck.

im glad that incom is a strong fiberoptic outlet in the states. we have a few more contracts this year then we did last year, and its only january.

True, but last time I checked the American Dream wasn't being a selfish, greedy, ass who only cares about himself.

Well then you haven't checked recently :(
