Just something I heard today which was kinda funny. Something I fact checked.

Obama doesn't have anything to do with the attacks on Bristol for being pregnant, I want to make that clear. But Obama's bloggers and media friends, who are determined to "swift boat" Barrack with their "help", have been attacking Bristol Palin's pregnancy over and over again in the media. Even going so far an claiming that Trig, Palin's youngest boy, is actually Bristol's child

The funny thing is you would think these hateful people would have stopped to notice that Barrack's own mother was 17 and unmarried when she became pregnant with HIM!

To clarify, I really don't think this has allot to do with either candidates credentials, it's just interesting how one sided and poorly researched the people to the far left, or right, are when making attacks which lead people to vote on fear & anger instead of on education and issues.

Wait a minute, we are supposed to use logic and reasoning when it comes to world changing events? Thats crazy talk.

You are in fact 100 percent correct in your assesment though. This is the big reason why I have a hard time going to political forums most of the time. You never get to talk to anyone resonable.

Oh I'm far from some straight ticket GOP nut who doesn't have independent thoughts (see Sean Hannity) and thinks my party is an offshoot of the Christian faith.

McCain is too Far right on Row V Wade for me
Too far left on immigration, although not by much

    there are other differences too

But the real issue, the issue which dominates in this election is that we need a president who will hold spending accountable. With the bill from our wars, the price of energy, and now the problem of rescuing our financial institutions, our load has reached critical mass.

There's no more time for earmark spending, let Obama secured a $1,000,000 earmark for his wife's hospital, what kind of change is that? Freddie Mac Gives more money to Obama then anybody else on capital hill save one person, who isn't McCain BTW.

Obama gives speeches about working across party isles, McCain has spent decades doing it. And McCain has never requested an earmark for the his home State, EVER.

one talks about it, one IS about it, that's the difference IMO
