I'm 100% in agreement with this. If you have it in writing, then I personally wouldn't let it go. I'm unsure of how much the site is work but I am sure that the code that you wrote and the designs that you constructed will continue to allow Mike to profit from your hardwork. He owes you and needs to compensate you, especially if it was in writing.
