Have you tried looking in a town like Farmington or other towns with lower property taxes?

i've been everywhere... wolcoot, t-ville, thomaston, cheshire, burlington, farmington, unionville, harwinton, plainville, and i'm sure i'm missing some. the market sucks.

kung fu: the hunt continues.

yellow house is out. it comes with like nothing, so its going to cost me at least 25 grand to make it livable after cost, which is simply out of my budget.

who the fuck builds a house and doesn't put vanities in the bathroom? i mean, for real?

Good God do I want to punch the screen, every time I see that little bug crawl across the bottom of your signature.

:werd: :withstupid:

Seems like you've been searching forever. Just make sure you pick something which you like/want and fits you, and not something just because it's available and in your price range.

Good luck with the hunt B!

uh, i know it isn't... in the rural areas of CA, there's a lot of houses that look like that. i just don't like it. i think it's more because of how that angle comes down and it's not crowning the entry... it just doesn't look right to me. inside is nice. i like the pool area... once again... check for dead bodies caused by the gun. :D

very nice house, but I'm personally against pools. they are a lot of matinence and a headache, espically with all the trees around. I'd still love to live in a house like that tho. Soon as i get a digi cam i gotta put up pics of the shoe box i own, everyone will get a good laugh, 1200 sqft.

that last one you posted looks good from the pics.. good luck with the search

i'm also going to look at this one tomorrow too, but from the looks of it, its got a driveway from hell which is a huge turn off to me.... probably not going to happen

I think I could deal with the driveway if I had a wrap around porch like that.
