i will have but loads of pics next week of my install
damn that thing is clean... I was thinking HMO?? why's he talking about medicare or whatever? hehe
That's what I thought, because the PPO Santa Claus brought me my new transmission last week. Who knew?
Hey you say its vtec??? What does the top cover of your engine say??? Does it say honda 16 valves. But not vtec?? Just curiosity??
i thought he meant HOMO because of a typo.....clean engine mang
looks like a d15b7 to me.
except of course it's not a d15b7, it's a d15b VTEC. There is a large difference.
Little do you know.
non vtec sohc have the spark plugs are in the back and vtec sohc in the front of the valve over.
this a shot of my d15b7 thats 102hp notice that th spark plugs are in the back
now another look a d15b vtec thats a 130hp notice that the plugs are foward or front part of the vavle cover
That motah looks SUPER clean... Congrats! How much did it run yah?
Also, it's definitely VTEC... You can JUUUST barely see the classic rust colored VTEC solenoid in this pic... Look at the MAP sensor on the TB... look JUST right of that between the two hose clamps. Yup, you see it.
actually, the sign on the outside does say HMO, I love being less than an hour away from that place!
it used to be hondamotorsonline but then honda gave them a big thing about they were ripping off the honda name.
The JDM b15 is basicly a VX (or is it DX) block with a d16z6 head.
Also, in SOHC honda's, there were about 4 diffrent valve covers and only a few said VTEC. The 93 del Sol SI's came with the black "non VTEC label" d16z6 valve cover.
Sorry to hijack, Asmall...I sent you a PM about your GSR front seats...
sorry 92, i'm done hijacking.
