front1.jpg

This is a front shot of the car. It doesn't look all too bad, but there is a new bumper cover on it, and the radiator support is smashed.. unfortunately, I didn't get pics of the smashed support, oh well. You can see in this pic that the passenger headlight is way out of alignment, pushed back and over. The driver's is sunken in.. This is because of the support damage.

front2.jpg

Just another shot of the front... You can see the hood damage, but the pics don't do it justice, it was pretty bad.

front3.jpg

This is the new radiator support all welded in, after having the "frame" straightened. You can see the blingin' new styrofoam piece, too.

front4.jpg

This is the car with the new front end bolted up. New bumper cover, hood, rad support, and projector headlights.

front5.jpg

Another view of the front, I know the pics suck, will get better ones.

interior1.jpg

This is the interior as recieved. Pretty crappy shape. Notice that the radio bezel is cracked in half and missing the lower half. You have to pull the entire dash to change that critter out.. When looking for that part, I thought it was going to cost 10-15 bucks.. I was wrong, aparently they are infused with gold or something, and you have to pay disgusting amounts even for a used one.. this one cost $60.. Most go for around $100... Crazy stuff. The speedometer didn't work, and there was no tachometer in the gauge cluster.. That won't work. Nope.

interior2.jpg

This is the car after I yanked the dash. Its true, things have to get worse before they can get better.

interior3.jpg

Ahh, thats a little better.. After the dash is re-installed.. back to stock. Note the new gauge cluster... Had to have a tach!

interior4.jpg

Another pic of the interior, just a different view.. New radio bezel installed. I'm stereo shopping now : ) looking at alpine stuff.. grown tired of Pioneer.

Also, the steering wheel is stained pretty bad.. Gonna have to fix that, clean it or replace it, whichever is easier..

Looking for paint, probably going to end up with phantom gray pearl ppg stuff... Keep it the stock color, I think its sexy : )

Well, Thats it for tonight, folks. Enjoy!

I haven't painted anything yet, that is just the primer that it comes in.. Now I have three shades of primer on the front end.. Going to have to get paint quick! lol...

Again, those projectors look BADASS. When I decide to do somthing with the outside of my Civic, those will definately be at the top of my list.

they aren't. they're the cheapo ebay one-piece halos that will start leaking if you even put water anywhere near them. :p

Gee, thanks..

I did pay $140 for em. oh well, if they leak, I'll seal em. not a big deal.

didn't mean to be offensive. I just couldn't think of a better way to tag them.

I MUCH prefer the TYC design, myself, but those don't look bad.

Car Looks Really good, good job!
I like the lights, but having owned the same pair, i am sorry.
:(
They won't leak, they won't fog, they won't work.
The halos will burn out in 2 weeks.
The wiring will fall apart 3 weeks thereafter.
Running the highbeams for more than 4 minutes (because your low beams went out cuz the wiring melted and broke and you're tired of dealing with them) will cause the lens to melt.
You won't be able to see well.
I swear i love the look of the lights, i paid $160 for mine 2 years ago... but the functionality is :(
If you really want to save the hassle, REWIRE them RIGHT NOW
because later you won't want to.
The female connectors that go over the male connectors are going to get loose, so buy new ones with the new wires.

Well, I was thinking of getting some of those kinda projector lights for my EG. Then what brand is good and where can I get them for a decent price? I don't wanna spend a million bucks on a cosmetic upgrade, but who makes good halo projector lights?

**UPDATE** 10-25-05 Window Tint Installed! Looks nice.

I've also got the stereo ordered. An alpine 9847 head unit and two pairs of alpine SPS-170a 6.5 inch speakers for the front and rear. I have some magic planned for the rear mounts.
