For some reason he assumes the US will for some reason start devoting 100% of its revenue to paying back its debt. I don't see us doing that any time soon.
Plus, we don't have to pay everyone back with cash, we proivide services, protection, food, healthcare, etc, and many nations accept that as repayment.h22bubbleback

He also makes the assumption that the National Income will stay the same. The main thing I get from this is that we NEED to elect leaders that are not going to fuck up (aka, DONT REELECT BUSH). However good people in America think tax cuts are, they strangle and will eventually kill our government.
You pay for what you get. If we all payed 50% taxes we could all have national insurence, SS, and free national health care. If we all payed 5% taxes we would get jack shit.

Im all in favor of hudge tax cuts. Imo i think the goverment should worry about: National Security,Economy, things such as that. I dont want the goverment worring about universal heath care and things such as that. Where in this country does it say that we (tax payers) will pay for your health care, give you money because your too lazy to work. Im of the opinon that this country has no self responiblity.

why do you think our medical schools and hospitals are full of folks here on a Visa? Cuz they get paid! Why do you think people come to Amerrica from all over the world for the health care? Because in our free market, the Doctors that are the best get paid!
What you purport is called socialism. Personally, I'd rather keep more of my money, pay the insurance or doctor I want to see than I would have England's or Canada's health system. (sorry to the Canucks on the board).
Basic difference in Democrats and Republicans. Dems want your money to spend how they want to and want you dependant on them. GOP would rather you keep the money and let our free market, capitalist system work like it has for over 200 years. Big government vs increased State's "rights"

"Americans have to learn" I hate that crap. STFU. I wouldn't pay 50% taxes. I'ts called health insurance. Pay a little extra. Don't depend on SS. Make something of yourself and you will have a lot to spend on retirement.
