    The successor to the Hubble is supposed to be ready in 2014, but doesn't look like it will make it before 2018.

    $6.5 bln project.

    Mission Goals:

    • Search for the first galaxies formed after the Big Bang
    • Determine how galaxies evolve
    • Observe the birth of stars
    • Evaluate the potential for life in distant planetary systems


    Should be neat to see what new things we are able to find once launched.

    saw it on imax at fl nasa
