So i was at a party last night. Had my CLEAN, self fixed and swapped beautiful red EF parked in the laneway at the party. (i mean i spent hundreds of hours on this car, it was clean) Some complete fucking idiot decided to try to drift his parents durango right in the laneway. So hes doing about 60 whens he attempts it, loses control completely, narrowly misses another car and smokes my EF. While i was standing right there. Car is totalled. I'm depressed. :( Anyone else had a simlilar sad experience with their honda? Just thought i'd share my sob story with you hondaswap guys.

You may not be able to get the car back, but you should be able to cash in on dumbshit's insurance.

thats the worst day of your life? someone hits your car while you're NOT in it?

give me a fucking break. it's a 20 year old car. I know how it is to have a car wrecked, but don't be so dramatic.

Wouldn't you feel the same way if that happened to your car that YOU put hundreds of hours into? I doubt you'd be like "Ah thats fine its a 20 year old car, all that work I did didn't mean anything to me at all." I'm pretty sure he is thankful he wasn't in it, but its still his car and his time he spent on it that was taken away from him. Don't be such a hard ass.

I think at 19 your perspective probably hasn't matured enough to realize that having your car wrecked isn't the worst thing to ever happen.

Not saying it's sunshine and roses, but it's nothing to write poetry and cut yourself over.

Dude it's a material possession. Nothing more sweat and money can't replace.

I thought this was going to be about someone dying or getting diagnosed with the HIV or something.....

yeah i was definately exaggerating when i said it was the worst day of life. but the two seconds before the crash, when you're just sitting there helpless, waiting for the inevitable smash, and when you finally hear that deafening smack...it just makes your stomach drop.

I watched my CRX get rear ended, I wasn't in it and it didn't get totaled. Sorry to hear about your car but at least you and your buddies where not leaning up against it or getting head from some whorish girl at the time.

I'm only 19 and sure I would be pissed but like you guys have said, life goes on. if you built it once, you can build it again. My worst day was probably when I found out my mom had cancer again.

You guys, I'm sorry to say but being 4 or 5 years past 19 isn't enough to act like YOU have had all of life's experience. I don't wana start another argument about that tho, I'm just pointing out a fact here.

    With that said..

Sorry bout your car man. But like some of the other dudes said, you can always do it again if you really wanted to. BTW rape that fuckers insurance would ya?

Or he can get the fair market value of his car and leave it at that. People getting all sue happy is what drives up the cost for the rest of us.

That's sort of how I meant it... But you have a good point there drake.

But seriously... market value on a EF is like... 1200ish? just guessing haven't looked it up.
