My friend's jack russell does that when he's playing. He's really careful too. If he actually bites you he gets all apologetic and shit, it's great.

my dog does the same. if you play with it and hit it (LIGHTLY) a few times, he'll try and bite your hand but after he does he licks it and looksat you all sad lol its funny. but jack russels are pieces of shit, i hate them.
