I am 28 and thinking about retiring from the car scence. I have a 96 ek hatch, red. under 110k on the body and under 80k on the old engine. Swaped in a 98 JDM GSR (30-40k), purchased a HAAZ(spelling) LSD unit has one season=6-10 passes down the 1/4 mile strip. High compression pistion( dont remember of my head, but its about 13.5 or something like that), forged rods, all skunk2 internal:cams and valve train. skunk IMF, DC header, s200 hondada, RC370 injectors with wire clip, Sfudo exht system with test pipe, carbon fiber hood, 17' rims, DSM igintion system, and other minor things such as alarm system, cd player, its hard to list them all since iam ONLY thinking about selling or trading it and dont know if im going to go through with it. with this set up, dynoying at 190hp to the wheel and 140 tg. doing a 14 flat down the 1/4 with bad, knocking axle bearing. potential in doing mid 13s car. the bad, at the end of the season, one day i was driving down the street, all of a suddently huge white smoke comming out, possibly head gasket gave up. This fall is my last semester in school and no time to fix, so i throw in the old engine and pulled out the gsr engine. This is my only ride, and it wont look good for me to drive this street car to work in a business environment, therefore, I am thinking about selling it or trading for any 96 up civic, manual or auto I dont care. I also would take a 4cylider tacoma(will work out the different). Also thinking about selling the whole complete swap separate or with the car(any offer???) but my bro wants the whole swap, so might have to leave it to him. what do you guys think? do i get more by selling car separate from engine or together?
