Jus got the 94-95 obd1 p72 for my 99' gsr motor in my 99 civic...

but anyways i also got the Obd2-obd1 conversion harness

my question is ...that should be it right??

no.

you need an obd2b -> obd1 conversion harness.

That should be it!!! Just clip the adapter harness into place, then plug in your ecu, the OBD1 doesn't bolt to the kick panel quite like the OBD2, but it will fit!!!!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!

like i said above, no it won't. there are two variants of obd2. the plugs simply won't plug into place, and there are wiring differences on top of it.

verify that the harness is obd2b -> 1 and not obd2a->1
