throttle cable?!

i threw a 97 GSR head into my 96LS. how the hell do i run the throttle cable?! the way i have it right now is sooo mickey moused! my throttle gets stuck NOT TO BAD but it will idle at 2,000rpm until i pull out the gas pedal with my foot.

If you retain the gsr manifold you have to fab up your own brackets for the cable to the butterfly. I never delt with this issue personally, but I am sure there are kits out there you can buy to make this easier or you can just buy an aftermarket manifold/tb, like the skunk2 or aebs.
