this is a 98 gsr motor i got swapped into my 93 civic not too long ago. anyways, there's this ticking noise coming from my fuel injectors/intake manifold area. also, whenever i accelerate, the ticking gets louder, especially at 3,000 rpm and up. any ideas on what this could be and how i could fix it? thanks

are you sure it needs a valve lash adjustment? its not coming from inside the motor. its coming from the fuel injectors/intake manifold area. that is
    on top of the motor.

Ummm, the tops of your valve stems are at the top (more or less) of the engine, which is what's causing the noise. Mine's doing the same thing right now, I just need to get my buddy over to my place since he has everything I need to do the adjustment.
