The coating and shit is peeling off (bought them that way) and its been way too long... time to go with something new. Im really a fan of the Rota GT3 style (and price) wheel. While searching, I found Nippon made an identical wheel and it turns out they're damn cheap too^_^ . Only thing is, i dont know much about Nippon....

Both are either going to be the chrome lip with royal bronze or gun metal. Btw, car is a silver 96 coupe and will definately be 16, unless someone can show me a picture of them in 15's. Car is going to be sitting on H&R oe springs and stock shocks only a drop of .75 all round so im thinking 16's might look better.

Which would you choose out of the two? Nippon's or Rota's... im leaning towards nippons just because they're so damn cheap.

I like the Nippons personally. I am still rocking the stock 14's that came on my Del sol, but those Nippons are pretty hot.

^^^ haha coming from the Rota hater...

no red, the choice i need to make now is royal bronze or gunmetal.... on silver.

I dunno what i'm going to do with the fat fives... might keep them to put new snows on for next year or sell em. The coating is peeling off real bad they'll need powdercoat and only 3 of the all season tires are good. Only thing with using them as snow wheels is that i have 4 stock 14's with studded tires but 3 of 4 could use replacing... plus one of the fives is slighty bent but can be fixed when you get the wheel balanced with a weight, doesnt give me any problems.

Well, I found a great deal on some 16 inch slipstreams, they will need tires however. Its not my first wheel of choice, but atleast they arent as flashy as the gt3's, which is good cuz flashy is not my style (and yes, i think anything with chrome on it is flashy :p).

Looks like ill be looking to sell my shitty fat fives with 3 good tires, real cheapo :) Anybody ever ship wheels before??? :p

too bad my car isnt that shiny lol. Well the good deal i found were from some flat black 16 inch slips... but some guy offered him 50 more than he was charging me and sold them to another guy. Bastard. After spending hours calling various stores for Sports Bronze, Flat Gun Metal and Steel Grey... every single god damn place was out... all they had were 15x6.5... I was considering 15's but not in 6.5.

So i ordered some flashy gt-3's in 16 inch gun metal, they come with black gorilla lugs w/key and the hub ring. Just ordered some 205-45/16 BF Goodrich g-Force sport tires too, I've heard some good things and a friend of mine had them on his gti, he liked them alot. Hard to beat at that price with a decent tread wear and road noise rating.

sooooo uhh, anyone need any fat fives that need powdercoating w/ 3 good Dunlop Qualifier all season on em??? Real cheapo lol, but any offer will NOT include shipping. :p And i have no clue how much to tell you guys, anyone ever ship wheels/tires before??

THe wheels came, yay!! along with gorilla lugs and the hub rings.

Im holding off on getting them mounted and balanced, going to wait until i buy some D2's or a good shock/spring combo. After that is ordered, then ill get em on the car, an alignment and possibly corner balanced if i go with the coilovers... if i can find a place that'll do it...... Can most places do that?

So fat fives are for sale... im thinking 150 for the wheels and tires plus shipping. They WILL need a powdercoat or some sort of refinishing.
