how do i get the tensioner to tighten the belt once i get the belt on? because it didn't tighten last time? first timing belt!? :wtf:

which engine???? which tensioner????? Auto like an h22???? or manual like everything else???? I'd buy a manual if I were you, cause timing belts are pretty simple, but you really don't want to make a mistake on them. If you give me a few more details though, I can try to help you, or possibly point you to a website with some pictures and step by step instructions.
