I just got some iridium spark plugs for my car. I need to retard my timing, because im going to be pushing 8 psi or less on a t3 on my b18a. How much should I retard the timing? Someone told me around 1 degree for every 2 psi, does this sound right? And would it be ok to attempt this without a timing gun? If so how far should I turn it? I belive I turn it away from the front windsheid.

Yes, you should be running 93 octane. That is good! I wouldn't attempt to adjust your timing without a timing gun. That's just me. I never heard about adjusting it 1 degree for every 2 psi. I guess you could try it, but I would call a company that deals with turbos and ask them about that, www.jgstools.com/turbo is a good place!

retard ur timing .5-1.5 degrees per pound of boost.
if u don t have a timing gun or know how to adjust it.
take it to ur local smog shop tell them where u want to set it and they will set it 4 about $10

4 8psi u should be around 10 btc. I take it ur running a fmu right?
