Timing

    Ok, I have a 94 civic
    I asked about timing earlier, and did some research.
    I have the cam gear with the "UP" at up and the two marks lined up horizontally, but what do I do to the lower crank pulley?
    How do I go about lining that up?
    And should I just unmount the motor and drop it a bit so I can get to the crank pulley?

    i need to set cam timing, not ignition timing.

    Its simple. Look up a manual on the internet, and that will tell you pretty much anything you need to know.

    being you want this guy to get his answer he solved his own answer first he was saying that "i have the cam gear with the word up" right then he says i just need cam timing well if his cam is right and its not running its his crank and theres little notches in the crank that you line up with the little thing that sticks out is kind of up and right for the crank pully

    BAM fuck you now shut the fuck up stop gettin booty hurt over everything

    And to get to my crank pulley at the bottom, do i need to take out the whole fuckin motor? or unmount it and drop it a bit?

    To the OP--If you take the drivers side tire off, you should have access to it. Turn the motor over by hand until the marks line up TDC. Once that is done, you can put the belt back on.

    You, sir, are a douche. You think you are so fucking hot-to-trot, when the reality of it is that you suck at life.

    I think it needs to start wavin'...It doesn't get any better after this...
