New poster here, and I've got a question:

I need to replace my clutch, and I was wondering if anyone here might be able to tell me how hard it will be, anything I should look for that's not in my Hanes manual, how long it will take..etc...I'm doing this with very little time to do it, have to get it right the first time, as I'm driving it across the Rockies in a couple weeks...

uhm...

its pretty straight forward
what car? what motor?

just follow the steps and it should be pretty easy...

can be done in under 3 hours...
prob about 8 hours for you though

I would like some help as well...I have an 85 CRX and am replacing the clutch, i have had a helluva time trying to get the transaxle back on...I'm talking like spending 20 hours on it so far and it sucks...can anyone give me any tips please. Also is there a pilot bearing that goes with the clutch kit b/c mine did not come with one. I am getting desperate so thanks for any replies.
