Found this cool site that lets you see the difference between tire/wheel sizes. It's a variation of one that was posted previously, but I think this one is better...

This could sure help noobs, I know it helped me visualize the differences. It also helped me learn more about how to measure and calculate offset. I had to figure it out myself because my rims dont have the offset stamped on them.

That ones good too. One cool thing about the one I posted is it has a half-outline of the tire and wheel sizes you want to compare.

I posted it because not everyone learns or thinks the same way. Having a variety of sources for info is conducive to learning.
