Has anybody here had any experience with maximizing space usage of the wheel wells in a 2000 (6th gen, I think) civic sedan? I'm mainly curious how wide of tires I can run without em rubbing. Right now, I'm looking at getting 15x7 rims with 205/50R15 tires, possibly 215/55R15 at max. TireRack.com recommends 195/55R15s, but I'm almost sure I can go wider.

steve rubbed a little on 205/50/15s on his si when he was lowered. thats why the recommend the 195s.

still, i would use the 205/50/15... cuz honestly, how often are you at steering lock?

maybe I could do some sort of a wide body fender conversion, like most racing spec cars. I dont know that I've seen anything like that available aftermarket, so fabrication would probably be a biatch.

anything's possible with bonda =)

seriously, 205 is the perfect fit for a 7" wide tire. Go with that.
