Tires?

I have 16x7 RS Limited Ikari wheels. They have a 40 offset & are being put on a 94 civic. Can I put 225's on the wheels & not have any clearance issues with control arms or whatnot?

The width of the wheel won't have anything to do with the control arms, you might rub on the fenders though...the widest I'd go on a Civic is 205-50s.

yeah i know that, someone told me that if i get a tire any wider than a 215 then i will have some clearance issues with the control arms or something due to the tire being wider.

if you go wider than a 195 you are gonna rub. ask B. 205s will rub, but thats what most people run, it doesnt rub bad, just a little.
