my cousin called me and said her car was broke down..its a 97 civic dx 2 door,...1.5 (i think) non vtec (156,000 kms)...said her c.e.l and oil press light was on ,so good enough..i pull up and notice oil on the ground ...first thought ; rod through the basepan..nope and its new at that..not a stain of oil in the car..rocker arms looked dry and so was the dipstick....so i threw in 2 quarts and it started to leak out a bit but it was hard to see where..its in the front left corner underneath somewhere..seems to me like a crank seal or basepan gasket...anything else there i might find leaking?....the car still rolls but wont start..just wondering if we can get it goin good enough to get of off the side of the highway,at least it aint costin me nothing for a change lol :D
