too much?

i have oil leaking out from my valve cover.......only a lil when i rev it high,
could this be caused by too much oil?? cuz i put too much oil in, its above the second hole, and i was just too lazy to jack it up and drain some.......

is that why im leaking oil??
or do i need to change the seal around the valve cover..................... :unsure:

It is probably just the seal around the valve cover, but I also would sugest draining the right amount of oil out of the car, so you are at the right level.

I had the same problem right after I took off and "sanded" my valve cover because yeah the seal, wasn't sealed properly and it wasn't torqued correctly.

o yea, and today i was tightening the valve cover nuts and i snapped one to, fuckin pissed me off, lol
