You could have probably ran that time with the d16z6 all motor (with a d16z6 and turbo you could get 12's, but that's another topic). Getting better tires will help the most, then learning how to launch, then just power shift the bitch and hold on. I would also agree with these guys and remoce all the unecessary heavy crap (big bling wheels, 12 inch subs, etc...). Good luck.

i was going through some old papers and i found the slip
i got a tune up and i plan on going back next weekend without the subs and spare but im gonna keep the bling wheels on for now until i can find some slicks for cheap hint hint to anyone with some slicks

here are the horrible times
reaction .805
60ft. 2.431
330ft. 6.851
ET @ 330ft 9.707
1/8 ET 10.35
1/8 MPH 70.08
1/4 ET 15.904
1/4 MPH 87.87

im hoping for a much better time this next time

when i bought my civic 100% stock 96 lx 4dr i ran a 15.9
now it's in the mid to low 13's with slicks depending on the track / weather.
you really need to take that heavy shit out of your car man.

it looks like you let off the gas after 1/8mi. you only gained 17mph in the last 1/8.

nope, that is an indiacton of a heavy car. Your trap time is an indicator of your power to weight ratio. If you have heavy wheels (added unsprung weight) a 100-200lb system and a body kit, everything adds up to a heavy car.

Since everyonce else is doing it, I will post up my times (these are not exacts since I haven't seen my slips in almost a year)

14.78 @ 94mph 2.1 60ft
or my best ever run .....

14.72 @ 81 mph 2.1 60ft
(bracket racing, I let off in the very last 200 or so feet, and then LIGHTLY pushed the brakes at the end)

My setup...

95 del Sol SI (about 20lbs heavier then the EG SI and much heavier then a VX or a CX)
95 b18c1 swap. 140 on the clock on that engine.
12lb flywheel
exedy organic "race" clutch
tein HA coilovers
GSR brakes (little heavier then stock)
ITR rear swaybar (again, added weight)
Gutted interior. Only seat, dash and door panels remained.
195/50/15 potenza SO3's (I think, maybe it was azenies)
on circuit 8 wheels

94 mph. That's a high trap speed for 14.7.... That car had a lot more in it. :)

That was a 13 second car with some slicks..

for sure, and the running the exact same time while braking at the end proves it. 14.7 at 81mph just sounds cool lol. I think that if I ever went back, I could have pulled a 14.5 or lower. Now that I have my 92 hatch, and it weighs 88 lbs lighter stock for stock, with a shit load more sound deading material, and better areodynamics, I am sure I can pull a 14.5 or lower. However, right now I have no tires to do it on. All I have is all seasons or snow tires. The snow tires MIGHT grip, but they have tons of tread left, and I can't afford to replace them, as I NEED them for the winter. Driveing through snow above your grill and having enough traction to have fun in that snow OWNS.

This is my best run. I am 219B ran a 15.4
How could i duplicate this 60' time, i ran this using lousy stock tires off an integra. I usually run 2.4 here i ran a 2.2

yeah. . . they should update it. It is from friday night street racing, which allows anyone to come to the track with anything and race it,(it is hillbilly country so i have seen snowmobiles, V8 vegas, we have our own 4-wheeler class). I didn't run the 18 sec, that was a stock 05 neon, he is 2nd in point just due to damn consistancy of an auto. it is a bummer manual and auto compacts are all in the same class.

quick reaction times!

My stock crx si ran 16.000 pretty consistant. Thats on crappy tires, full interior, hell, I had trash and college books in the car most of the time. I did break into the 15s once in a while.
I would think, even with the extra weight that you should be able to beat that with a C1...

Now I'm Damned to running 1/8th mile.. I hate 1/8th mile.

Last time I went down there, I ran a 10.3 at 67mph, heavy azz 16" motegi Mr7s and some descent rubber.

I'm going tonight to see what my swap has gotten me... stock teggy steelies and old tires... wonder how that's gonna work out? The added torque should help out alot in the 8th. Also, the extra engine weight over the front wheels can only be a good thing.

I have a 1992 Honda Civic VX Hatchback and it has a B20B with a GSR tranny. I never had a chance to run on a 1/4 mile track but my best in the 1/8 mile is:

R/T .120
60' 2.076
330 5.989
MPH 57.86
1/8 ET 9.248
MPH 73.92
