is it bad that my top cam cover on my h22 is missing what can this cause?
It can cause nothing, but it can be a problem, if something bounces up or down into that cover and get in between the belt and the crack gear, or a cam, it could break it.
If it gives you piece of mind, i took my top timing belt cover off.
Just hope nothing falls into it.
It will also be exposed to the 'elements' more, and should probably be changed more often than recommended, actually go change it right now
You can buy a new valve cover there, you can even get the cool red or blue valve covers from the Type S or SiR-T (but they are a lil over 200 bucks)
yes, I dont have a bottom timing belt cover, that is bad. it can allow shit to get between the teeth/gears/belt and can cause damage
I just went 2 the junkyard and picked one up but have been 2 busy to put it on
i need one for a B20, as the LS wont fit.
