3S-GTE or 4A-GE MR2 with a something 50 transmission, are there readily available parts in case something goes wrong or do they need to be specially ordered or anything?

A series won't work with an S series. A 3S-GTE would bolt up to any Camry 4 or 6 cylinder tranny, though...
