tps on b18c-R

Hey,

I've swapped a JDM B18C-R in my civic eg (holland). With the throttle position sensor connected, the engine blocks when driving. When I disconnect it the engine is working fine, even the v-tec does work.

Tps gives with full throttle 4.5V and closed 0.45V (measured in ecu). Can someone tell me what is causing this problem?

what does "blocks" mean?

so far i doubt it's completly TPS related. you should be in limp home mode w/ no tps.

It sounds like there is no ignition or no fuel injected, when the tps is connected and driving away. When it's disconnected it works fine, the idle and the v-tec are ok.

maybe too much fuel? check your timing. dizzy might be retarded too much. if your running lean you would have detonated, so if you can drive away you must be running rich. get back to me

vtec is an acronym. no need to hyphen ^_^
