Alright first off, I'm a total noob when it comes to cars. Yet, I recently purchased a 91 civic hatch with an JDM type R. I think my question should be pretty easy for many of you.
My transmission cable has stretched (which I take to be a common problem) and now the car wont start. It was already at the point where I had to completely floor the clutch to start it. I have a hasport hydraulic -> cable conversion kit.
So, given that I know next to nothing about cars. How do I tighten the cable? what tools do I need? or do I need to replace the cable?
Thanks for any help you can provide
