tranny problem.

i just traded my civic for a 91 accord with an automatic tarnny. whenever i want to shift out of park i have to pull the shifter back really hard. it takes a few tries to get it and when i'm driving, the tranny slips into neutral causing me to shift into N and restart the car. anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

auto trannys are funny like that, could be fluid.. could be a bad filter, could be a rusty cable. i would look for rust on my trany then go from there, if not then take it to a shop and get a tranny flush.
