tranny promblems i think....

ok this is the last of my mechanical problems...ok i have a gsr swap in my crx with a j1 cable tranny...i was pretty sure until now that all b series axles fit into b series trannies, but this one seems to be loose or something because it moves around while all the way in the diff. when i drive the car it makes a clicking sound and begins to shake at high speeds (somewhere around 40+ mph). maybe someone can tell me what the problem might be. i just dont want some fast talking mechanic to get the best of me. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Did the inner shaft have the circlip on it that holds it into the transmission?

yeah it has it...the axle locks in place. but you could still move it around like up, down, left, and right...
