tranny question

    can u mate a Y21 hydrolic tranny with a B18c1? and will it be faster than with a gsr s80/y80 transmission?

    Which engine was the Y21 originally paired with? Are you sure you don't mean YS1?

    Anyway, all B-series trannies (aside from the Prelude B-series) are completely interchangeable, so it should work. As for whether it will be faster or not, well, I'd need to know what car it originally came from...

    ok cool and i heard that is the same as a civic si tranny the S4C/Y21 are almost the same i was told.

    ok thanks for the info and off the topic i have another question can i use a ls,rs,gs obd2 alternator on a b18c block? or does it have to be a gsr alternator
