I hate my automatic transmission. I really would like to switch to the 5 speed. Is this at all possible or even worth my time. I don't have anything against the SOHC engine I just am un-impressed with CVT. I am fairly mechanically inclinded and have been working on my honda, my acura before my honda, and all my friends for a few years, so I feel like if it can be done I can do it. I just need to know if theres anyone else who's already undertaken this project and can give me some pointers. I realized the obvious things first ecu, pedal set, linkage, possibly axle, and of course the tranny. What else am I missing. I'm not above fabrication either I know my way around a plasma cutter and welder too. Thanks for any help you guys can give.
