tranny swap

hey guys, i'm new to this honda sport. been building custom trucks since 88. i have a 90 civic dx hb and was just given a b18c. my question is do i have to swap the tranny out as well or can i use the 90 5 spd.thanks

It is possible to use the 5 speed that is already in the car, but you'll need a D>B transmission adapter plate. If I were you, I'd just grab a GSR transmission to go with it.

yeah you should probably just get a gsr transmission, or some other b series trans.
