tranny won't go into reverse w/o forcing it?

If my tranny won't go into reverse without forcing it is it a tranny problem or clutch I think its
a tranny problem but I'm not sure its a d15y8 in a eg hatch so that motor won't be in there too long
but I just wanted to c what would be the problem

could be a bad clutch also. very likely the tranny is bad.

If the problem is inside the case then you should open it up
